The mission of the LRC is to improve student learning at Ittihad University in relation to the English language, English language teaching, and translation from / to English. In recognition of the university mission, this Center strengthens English language learning through various means in cooperation with other units in the university.

Objectives

1. Providing support for English language learning through productive and enjoyable means.

2. Providing access to English language materials on a wide range of skills and topics.

3. Providing English language-related reference tools both in print and electronic formats.

4. Helping students and staff who have problems with understanding materials written/ spoken in English.

5. Contributing to the ELT program efforts of preparing English language teachers.

6. Contributing to the personal growth of IU students by offering language-related facilities and resources.

7. Providing access to practice materials on placement and proficiency tests required by the University for admission and / or graduation.
