PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

The educational objectives of the Computer Science Program at IU are:

1. To provide students with opportunities to learn basic Science and Engineering concepts and apply them to computer technologies.

2. To provide students with skills in interpretation, analysis, evaluation inference, argumentation and reflection.

3. To provide students depth of knowledge in Computer Science coupled with capacity to produce feasible and reasonable solution to complex information technology problems.

4. To prepare students for Computing professional employment and admission to graduate programs.
