PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OUTCOMES

The educational outcomes for the Computer Science Program are developed with the aim of achieving the program’s objectives. Upon completing the program, computer science students are expected to have an ability to: 

  1. Apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering.
  2. Use techniques, skills, and tools necessary for computing practice.
  3. Identify, formulate and solve computer related problems.
  4. Work independently and also work effectively in teams.
  5. Apply design and development principles in the construction of software systems of varying complexity.
  6. Conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data.
  7. Understand professional and ethical responsibility.
  8. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  9. Recognize the need for and to engage in lifelong learning.
  10. Apply computer science principles and practices to a variety of problems.
