The learning outcomes for the EL&T Program are developed to achieve the program goals and objectives. On completion of the program, a graduate will be able to:

      1. Use the English language competently.

      2. Distinguish different types of literary works and show knowledge of the diversity of 

         cultures.

      3. Demonstrate practical knowledge in translating a variety of texts into and from  

         English.  

      4. Conduct English language and translation services.

      5. Utilize IT resources for translation and research purposes.

      6. Operate efficiently both individually and collectively.

      7. Participate in specialized lectures, conferences, and workshops.

      8. Offer English language and translation services to the community and to other 

          programs at the university.
