PROGRAM OUTCOMES

The Program Outcomes for the Business Information Systems Program are developed to achieve the Program Educational Objectives. These outcomes describe the attributes, skills, and abilities that students should have upon graduating from the program.

Students completing this Program will have to demonstrate a solid mastery of fundamentals in Business Administration and Information Technology that empower them with a combination of managerial and IS/IT skills.

 The BIS program must demonstrate that its graduates have ability to:

1.      engage in lifelong learning.

2.      contribute to the national development of the UAE and the region.

3.      analyze, design, and implement business information systems as solution tools for business support.

4.      understand ethical behaviour and social responsibility.

5.      make decisions, including critical thinking and analytical skills.

6.      communicate effectively.

7.      function in multi-disciplinary teams.

8.      work in a competitive environment toward quality. 

9.      conduct research, offer service to the community, and pursue postgraduate studies.

 

The above Program Outcomes are the minimum expected results if BIS program objectives are to be achieved.
