Students
are admitted to IU regardless of differences in nationality, religion,
language and color, according to the following conditions:

Applicants must pass the TOEFL institutional test and score 500 for all
programs.
NOTE
Students
who do not obtain the required minimum score in the TOEFL test, can
attend the Intensive English Language Program while registering in
courses that are not taught in English. After obtaining the required
minimum score, students can register in courses that are taught in
English.
Last date for presenting the TOEFL slip is the
last date for add and drop stated in IU Calendar.

must present the following:
1. Original or a copy of the transcript
of the GSEC certified by the Ministry of Education and Youth, or an
equivalent
certificate authenticated by the Ministry of Education
and Youth for foreign secondary school
certificates.
2. Birth certificate.
3. Six personal photographs.
4. Copy of valid passport.
* Applicants
who are transferring from other universities must submit an original
or certified copy of transcript
of grades from their respective
universities.

Applicants
must pay AED 700 or an equivalent as application fee.
Transfer
Students
Students
may transfer to Ittihad University from other universities or
University Colleges if the following conditions are met:
1. Transferring
from a university or university college recognized by the Ministry
of Higher Education and
Scientific Research in the UAE; transcript
of grades must be certified by the Ministry of Higher
Education and
Scientific Research.
2. Fulfilling
the admission requirements at Ittihad University.
3. A minimum of 2.0 GPA or
“Good” rating at the previous institution.
4. Transferring credits from other
universities are accepted if the following conditions are met:
a. A
minimum grade of “C” is required for courses taught in a
credit-hour system, and a minimum of
60% for other systems.
b. Transferred
students must complete at IU the minimum of 50% of the total credit
hours required
for graduation, and at least 50% of the total credit
hours from the Department Requirements.
